WOODWARD 5466-258 | SIMPLEX DISCRETE I/O MODULE ，48 Input 24 Output Discrete I/O （48/24 D I/O）

The Woodward 5466-258 is a Simplex Discrete Input/Output (I/O) module designed for use in automation systems. It is part of the MicroNet Digital Control series and can be integrated with a Vertex-Pro Chassis. This module is compatible with both Simplex and Redundant systems and can be installed in chassis modules with either eight or fourteen slots. It is important to note that the installation location must be non-hazardous or within Class I, Division 2, Groups A, B, C, and D for safety compliance.

The 5466-258 module features forty-eight discrete inputs and twenty-four discrete outputs, making it a versatile component for various automation applications. It can be configured in two ways:

As a forty-eight/twenty-four discrete combo module, which includes two twenty-four/twelve discrete Field Terminal Modules (FTMs) connected via high-density discrete/analog cables. The discrete inputs on this module are optically isolated and can be accessed through the FTMs.

Alternatively, it can be configured with two twenty-four/twelve discrete FTMs connected through high-density discrete/analog cables, with the discrete inputs optically isolated and accessible through the FTMs.

The module has a single LED on the front faceplate to indicate potential faults and two connectors.
