The GE VMIVME-4140 Analog Output Board is a product developed by GE Fanuc Automation. It is a 32-channel 12-bit analog output board that provides high-quality analog output channels. The board can source or sink 10 mA at ±10 V. Each output has a dedicated Digital to Analog Converter (DAC) assigned to it.(Many people are also interested in VMIVME-7750, click here)

In terms of physical characteristics, the board has dimensions of 6U single slot Eurocard form factor. Its weight (mass) is up to 0.7 kgm maximum. Power requirements are +5VDC at 4.0A maximum; outputs fully loaded. The board operates under various conditions such as altitude operation to 3,000m, temperature operation from 0 to +65° C, operating storage from 0 to +65° C, and relative humidity from 20% to 80%, noncondensing.
It's worth noting that the board can be connected using either discrete wire or IDC (Mass-Terminal)
